My Priorities for Pleasanton
Let’s Fix Today’s Challenges
I will focus on getting ahead of our immediate critical issues. Without getting these under control, Pleasanton will continue to drift towards mediocrity.
Budget: No new taxes. Cut waste, not services or programs.
Public Safety: Hire more police officers and pay competitive salaries.
Water: Cost-effective and PFAS-free water supply.
Engagement: Truly respectful and open communication with our amazing community |
And Plan for Tomorrow
I have a plan to build and execute an ambitious plan for a Stronger, More Vibrant Pleasanton so the current issues don’t show up again after a few years.
We’ll focus on driving innovation, local employment and revenues for our city. Raising taxes and prices is the easy way out. These actions will hurt our community in the long run.
Housing: Preserve neighborhood character for infill developments. Plan master communities in large open/vacant areas. More homes for young families. Let’s reverse the declining enrollment in schools.
Local Businesses: Preserve our historic downtown while championing local business growth.
Innovation Hub: Attract and support next-gen sustainable tech and healthcare companies. Drive local employment and higher tax revenues for the city. |
